Found here on Instagram, the Fortune Teller Readathon is a month-long reading journey for February. To join in, choose one of the three pathways (or attempt two, or all three) and use #fortunetellerreadathon on Instagram. I have selected the second pathway and my book choices are as follows.
The New Friend
A book you think will be a new favorite
Escaping from Houdini (Stalking Jack the Ripper #3) by Kerri Maniscalco

I selected this book because I am really excited to continue this series! I enjoyed the second book in the series more than the first, and I’m hoping that this trend will continue for book three.
Written in the Stars
A 4 or 5 star predicted read
Ayesha At Last by Uzma Jalaluddin

This book has been on my TBR for so long! It’s a retelling of Pride and Prejudice that will also be appearing on my Polarthon TBR to be announced tomorrow.
The Hopeless Romantic
A love story!
Pride and Porters by Charlotte Greene

I started this book a while ago and it’s been sitting on my “currently reading” list with zero progress made for so long that I decided to use this prompt to force myself to finish it. Another Pride and Prejudice retelling!
The Dark One
A book you think will have a great villain
One Word Kill by Mark Lawrence

This book has also been on my TBR for a little while. Though it seems to be built up as a race against time more than anything, there was mention of a knife wielding opponent and with the premise of the novel I can’t imagine there isn’t an awesome villain hiding in the shadows.
The Outcast
A book you think you’ll love but others hate
Stolen Enchantress (Forbidden Forest #1) by Amber Argyle

This book was suggested to be during a search on Kindle Unlimited and it honestly sounds right up my alley. However, upon seeing some of the reviews on GoodReads I realized it fit this category. There are some positive reviews, but I saw quite a few highly negative ones. I’m still hoping that I enjoy this book!
And there we have it bookworms, my reads for the Fortune Teller Readathon!
