March Reading Goals

I think first and foremost, I want to get back on track with my GoodReads challenge. I’ve been consistently a few books behind, but this week I closed that gap a little more than I have all year and I’m hoping to eliminate it entirely by the end of March!

As for what books I actually want to read this month, I have decided not to participate in any readathons. While The Fortune Teller Readathon was fun, committing to the Polarthon turned out to be too difficult for my limited resources last month. Therefore, I will be using this month to just read books I feel like reading at the moment!

Another one of my goals is to finally get a library card and explore my local library branch for what they have. I also really really want to check out the used bookstores on the street I work on, one of which has a cat!

Rather than building a TBR on GoodReads, though, and announcing that, I think I’m going to let my mood guide me in reading this month. I haven’t really done that in a while what with trying to fulfill reading prompts left and right and making sure I have “enough” books set to read. I think it’ll be a nice change of pace to relax a bit about that this month.

What about you? Any fun reading plans for this month, or releases you just can’t wait to get your hands on?
